A Study On Psychological Counseling Intervention Of Junior Middle School Students' Test Anxiety

The testing results of experimental group and control group show that there are significant differences in the score gaps of examination anxiety and cognition before and after guidance, showing a markedly intervention effect from group guidance. The difference tests of exam score increment in and before guidance and before and after guidance show that the exam scores of experimental group rise to some extent and arrive at the significant level. The feedback of group members after each activity reveals positive preparations and optimistic learning attitude from students, indirectly reflecting a good effect of group guidance.Following conclusions are conducted in this paper:(1) The revised Cognitive factors questionnaire of examination anxiety concludes 16 items with good reliability and validity and can reflect the reality of adverse cogitation from Grade Nine students to the examination anxiety.(2) After testing Grade Nine students with Cognitive factors questionnaire of examination anxiety and The diagnosing scale of examination anxiety, it is found that there exists differences in the cognitive level of examination anxiety among Grade Nine students and they are mainly caused by following factors including gender differences, only children or not, home place, financial situation and family relationship condition.(3) Reading psychological guidance manual of examination anxiety includes 9 parts: introduction, brief introduction of reading psychological guidance, guidance objective, possible user of the manual, types and procedures of the reading psychological guidance, reading material library, case study of the reading psychological guidance, announcements and appendix.(4) Based on the score comparison of the questionnaire, exam performance comparison and the assessment of group member activities, the manual is verified to be applicable and effective through study of quasi-experiment design of experimental group and control group.Taking Grade Nine students as research object, this paper takes methods including qualitative research, questionnaire survey and experiment. By using Cognitive factors questionnaire of examination anxiety and The diagnosing scale of examination anxiety(Zheng Richang) which are revised on the basis of this paper’s analysis, this paper probes into the adverse cogitation of examination as well as the current situation and characteristics of examination anxiety, which easily appear in Grade Nine students; By taking the agreed qualitative research, this paper analyzes the result of open-ended questionnaire and forms the reading material library;Using reading psychological guidance and selecting reading materials from the reading material library, a set of effective group guidance programmes are developed and further into normative, scientific and instructive Reading psychological guidance manual of examination anxiety, whose applicability and effectiveness are verified on the basis of the experiment.
