| Impulsive decision has become a new hot research field in recent decisions. In everyday life, the impulse decisions often lead to a series of adverse consequences, the study of cognitive mechanisms impulsive decisions can help prevent accidents that may occur. Construal level theory is to explain the way to characterize individual events can affect decision-making in social psychology theory of judgment. In recent years, the rapid development of Construal Level Theory, are widely used in different fields of study. In this study, the Construal Level Theory to explain the theoretical basis for the study of college students, using methods and data collection questionnaire behavioral experiments, including two study sections. A study by manipulating the social distance and the probability of two dimensions, investigated the effects of psychological distance on impulse decisions and verify whether there was an interaction between the two dimensions. B study by starting high and low levels of interpretation, directly investigate the effect of the level of impulsive decisions explanation, and the introduction of two dimensions reward credits, verification affect the interpretation of the level and amount of reward impulsive decision whether there is interaction. The results are as follows:First, the social distance and the probability of the impact on the AUC value significant interaction (F=7.129, p<0.01). Simple main effects analysis, probability factor reached at far social distance condition was significantly (F= 9.42, p<0.01), simple main effects in recent social distance is not significant; social distance factor was significant at the 10% probability conditions (F=10.35, p<0.01), simple main effects at 90% probability is not significant.Second, the main effect of construal level influence on AUC values were significantly (F=12.046, p<0.01).Third, the construal level and the amount of the reward effect on AUC values significant interaction (F= 4.463, p<0.05). Simple main effects analysis revealed construal level factor reached in the large reward credit conditions significantly (F= 16.32, p<0.01), was not significant in the simple main effects of small reward; the reward amount factor in starting low construal level conditions under reach significant (F=7.23, p<0.01), simple main effects when starting high construal level is not significant. The study concluded the following:(1) Different psychological distance affect the individual impulse decisions and verify the existence of the interaction between different dimensions. Under the conditions for others to make decisions, low probability of reward you get when individuals show a higher tendency to impulse decisions; at the possibility of obtaining low-reward conditions, when individuals make decisions for others to show a higher level of impulsive decision-making tendencies; (2) Start a different construal level has a significant influence on impulse decisions. To start at a low level construal condition, individuals show a higher tendency to impulse decisions; (3) Rewards credit with the combined effect of construal level impulse decisions. In decisions about the large reward, when you start low construal level, individuals exhibit a higher tendency to impulse decisions. Exhibited higher tendency to impulse decisions at start low level construal condition, the individual decision-making related to large rewards. |
