Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909), one of the representative of the Spanish national musician. Incorporating various style features of Spanish national music, his works have extensive themes and are strongly influenced by the works of folk music of Andalusia. He is the first Spanish national composer who introduced the Spanish folk music into Europe, and he shows the world the unique charm of Spanish folk music. "Spanish Suite" is one of the most famous works of the Albeniz Piano Music. This work consists of eight small pieces that are independent and full of Spain local characteristics, they are 《Granad》、《Cataluna》、《Sevilla》、《Cadiz》、《Asturias》、《Aragon》、 《Castilla》 and 《Cuba》. Named by its place name, every piece can also be referred as a theme and have a sense of story and picture. This work has various rhythm, melody and rich harmony, and it combines musical elements of the nation, such as large numbers of the Freeh Guinea tune, unique style of Spanish dance rhythms, wonderful Spanish guitar sounds, imitation of the ethnic dance and quote of the folk ditty. It shows the unique creation techniques of Albeniz incisively and vividly. According to my own professional researches, I make a deep analysis on this work and hope that I can get some playing inspirations and skills from the study of the "Spanish Suite" and apply their knowledge to my playing.
