Ancient Chinese paid much attention to disaster abnormality very early. Recording and explaining disaster abnormality is a way of understanding the world. The primary research of this paper concentrates mainly on manifestation, interpretation pattern, characteristics, political efficiency and the relation with literature.The paper divides into four chapters:The first chapter introduced concept and concludes four manifestation of disaster abnormality in Tso Chuan. The author defines the concept and divide the manifestation into four categories:natural disasters,causing a prophetic vision, ghost haunting, other supernatural events.The second chapter discussesdseveral interpretations about disaster abnormality in Tso Chuan and the influence on the people at that time. The author summarized the three kinds of theory interpretation of Pre-Qin, analyzed the causes of Tso Chuan combined with the specific examples and explained political efficiency.The third chapter combined with the "Spring and Autumn annals" "Gongyangzhuan" "Guliangzhuan" text, explored the characteristics of Tso Chuan in the mind of the calamity. Tso Chuan recorded the disaster abnormality and kept an objective attitude to the disaster; the disaster abnormality in Tso Chuan were not isolated; Tso Chuan valued disaster abnormality, but generally valued human relation,aimed at highlighting man’s values.The fourth chapter discussed the influence of Tso Chuan from two aspects. As far as the original text itself, the disaster abnormality in Tso Chuan have higher aesthetic value in many aspects; at the same time, notes rich forms and techniques of the calamity of creation has become aparadigm of the historical literature and classical novels.
