Fish skin manufacturing process is an unique ethnic craft belong to Hezhen nationality,which is the only nationality lived by fishing and hunting Nowadays,she is one of the minority nationalities with less population. As Hezhen national symbol, its meaning is profound, accompanied by the formation and development of Hezhen along the way, is a unique witness to the ancient history of the nation, is also a microcosm of the history and art of Hezhen’s "encyclopedia." For thousands of years, along with changes in the circulation time of the times, to promote the progress of science and technology and the productivity of the economy has been different from the previous rapid development, Hezhen traditional crafts are also evolving and changing, and presented under the new historical conditions a more contemporary new features. Today, the root of this nation’s heritage skills in the same river still stubborn soil extends forward, though after generations change, but still maintained a strong vitality.This thesis is divided into five parts.
