The twenty-first century, along with computer software and hardware facilities,changing and constantly updated,3G and4G mobile technologies, the rapiddevelopment of broadband and wireless technology, people’s way of life has changeddramatically. Network communication technology is increasingly closely linked withour everyday life, and we are faced with an information explosion era. Various meansof network communication media and consumer products such as microblogging,micro-fiction and micro movies are used by the majority of consumers. Micro-film as anew form of film and television art, driven by a variety of network media, has becomeincreasingly popular.The issue of micro-film music will be discussed in this paper. Micro-movies make useof music to produce more artistic and beautiful micro films. Micro-film music is anintegral part of the art work, and is therefore closely related with the production ofmicro-films. Micro-film movie music can further explain and contrast, and reveal thevisual elements of micro-movie screen, and complements the plot, expands capacity,and causes a resonant effect with the audience. In addition, the implication ofmicro-film rendering the atmosphere can also play a huge role in a micro-film. Theposition occupied by the music is irreplaceable, as its use of can emphasize and revealemotional changes. Music, unlike any other art form, is the most effective way tochange the expression of feelings. The author first analyses micro-film, and thenanalyzes the current well-known works of several micro-film attempts to exploremicro-film music in movies, as well as in art features and functions. Finally, thecurrent situation and development trend of micro-film music is analyzed, hoping toprovide a reference for researchers and workers in related fields.
