A Study On The Music Of Hani And Yi People In Honghe County

Honghe county belongs to the Yunnan Honghe Hani&Yi Autonomous Prefecture andit is one of the most expansive areas in Hani and Yi. Lezuo Dance is traditionalfolk dancing art composed of songs, dance and music, and it is possessed by Haniand Yi people. For the culture of Lezuo Dance have double properties, the Lezuo Dancecan express the similar characteristicmutually and the specific characterdistinctly not only by the form of the expression of dancing art but also theinterpretation of culture connotation.Such plentiful components of culturesresult in the development of cultural diversity, which embodies the powerfulstrength of culture. The thesis attempts to compare and analyze the difference andsimilarity of Lezuo Dance culture previously and currently by organizing the culturein order to obtain harmonious development on the stage built up not only betweenmodern and traditional cultures but also between fold related and campus related.The thesis concludes three parts: introduction, four chapters and epilogue.The introduction mainly states the reasons for selecting the topic,the researchbackground and methods.The first chapter briefly depicts the basic information ofHonghe Hani and Yi. The second chapter is to organize the developing process of theculture from the beginning, formation, developing and maturity of lezuo Dance. Thethird chapter is to illustrate the culture of Lezuo Dance from different anglesthrough the comparison and analysis of the character, connotation and function ofHonghe Lezuo Dance culture. In chapter four, some typical cases and figures are usedto illustrate the current situation of Honghe Lezuo Dance culture’s preservationand transformation and also some advices are put forward for the protection andtransformation work. The epilogue is the conclusion for the problems that neededto be further perfected in the researching process.
