With the impact of the new media revolution, the traditional animation industry began to change, whose areas have greatly expanded, so animation has become a common way of information transmission. It breaks the traditional concept of animation, presenting the phenomenon of animation,the game, network, multimedia, film and television advertising, television program, demonstration of scientific and technological achievements, teaching courseware, product design, virtual roaming, medical imaging, entertainment and leisure are animation of the application of the new category.In such animation historical conditions, the animation industry research cannot be confined to the traditional animation industry, which should broaden their vision to the trendy new media animation.The transformation and development of animation industry is the support and guidance of animation education. In the face of this new situation, many domestic colleges and universities have not paid enough attention to this, still give priority to with traditional film and television animation talent cultivation, not to the new situation to make corresponding adjustment in time, so that with the current animation industry development.Many colleges and universities to open to the current domestic animation professional has some common problems. Without their own characteristics, for example, instead of courses, the teachers strength is not enough, the training goal of a single, poor teaching environment, and these problems and eventually lead to poor students’ professional quality, employment face is relatively narrow, facing mount guard after graduation to the plight of training and career change, makes the students psychological gap is very large. "Animation", while facing the era background, make animation school education issues become more prominent. Therefore, studying on the animation education and the contradiction between the time development and the reasons of the contradiction, the animation teaching reform has a certain theoretical significance.This research works on defining the concept of animation education, studying and combing the animation industry transformation from animated film to animation, focusing on studying and analyzing the contradiction between industry development and the present condition of the animation education, discussing the reason why this contradiction appears?Finally, trying to put forward some superficial suggestions to the teaching of animation in the context of animation. This study conducts a preliminary exploration of the current teaching animation, hoping the research results of Chinese animation education reform have certain reference values, making the animation educators to broaden their ideas, strengthen the construction of generic animation industry, benefit the students majoring in animation, and solve the phenomenon of animation students’ employment difficulty.
