On The Aesthetic Style Of Hui Nationality From The Color Preference Of Clothing

Hui nationality is social group which has a unique cultural and historical background, with the development of economy and regional integration,such a special traditional group have been slowly assimilated by Han national culture more or less. It seems that Hui nation’s modern life are far away from the traditional characteristic, but the living habits and the deep-seated culture history have made it possible that the classic traditional still keep their own characteristics,just like their national costume have it’s good inheritance.May due to the regional differences, living habits and so on, Hui people tend to a special preference for the color difference. Compared to the religion, eating habits, and customs, the colour preference can be said to be more inside collect, implicative, which people are not easy to detect. So this special color preference is also an important component part of the Hui nation’s culture.In this article I want to make full use of the advantage of resources, my personal comprehension, the questionnaire survey, with the help of statistical analysis of psychology scientifically, also is the previous research results, to study the modern Hui people’s dress color preferences in a psychological level, through my own understanding of the culture of Hui nationality and its aesthetic style differences.This article attempts to explore the relationship between the minority group Hui nation’s clothing color preferences, personality traits and doctrine of the mean thought, which in a certain extent not only providing a good suggestions for the modern clothing design, but also retaining the Hui ethnic characteristics and carrying forward the traditional culture of Hui nationality. This study used three sets of scale: the Eysenck personality questionnaire of short form(Chinese version is EPQ- RSC), the doctrine of the mean beliefs/value scale, middle scale integrated thinking. Three groups of our own made color questionnaire including questionnaire for color preference, questionnaire for match color, questionnaire for clothing type. Now we get ready for beginning our investigation with the preparion.The research results have shown that:(1)in the abstract color, specific colors, like green hui.(2) in terms of color, people like with the same tones, especially the shallow tone.(3) in terms of clothing, like Muslims still loose, cover the body,elegant fashion.(4)Hui nationality in personality dimensions, psychoticism, cover and the doctrine of the mean thought about.
