Combined Tang Geng literature, ancient prose criticism thought research, makes every effort to restore Tang Geng ancient thought and its place in the history of criticism and literary history.This article mainly from the Tang Geng prose creation, dig literary theory of Tang Geng ancient works, there are four parts in this paper.First chapter retraces Tang Geng creation mentality culture, comb out Tang Geng life experience in the ancient books, through the "Tang Geng short life, from his tutor Tang Geng character, early life experience on the basis of analysis and ideal, with its rough official career experience summed up in two periods of go in and go out Sichuan, introduce his different brief idea and ideal pursuit, which can help us better analysis Tang Geng prose creation mentality, understanding Tang Geng ancient theory criticism under the ideological content. The second Chapter introduce Tang Geng’s Wen qi theory, firstly introduces the creation and development of Wen qi theory, starting from the concept generation of the spring and autumn period to Mencius and Zhuang Zi laid the groundwork for Wen qi criticism theory, to Cao pi completed Wen qi theory. Then discusses Tang Geng creation of the Wen qi, concrete analysis Tang Geng’sthe meaning of Wen qi in his poetry. Contrast with the ancient people’s understanding to wen qi,point out the difference understanding of the Wen qi in Tang Geng’s work and also introduce the way of Yang qi.The third Chapter introduce Tang Geng’s “qi shuwen he” and its theoretical basis, specific introduce Tang Geng “qi shu wen he” and the criticism theory of Wen qi, and discusses the affection of “qi shu wen he” to the complement and development of Wen qi.Tang Geng’s wen dao theory is to better practice the wen qi criticism theory and anlysis the “qi shu wen he” deeply. Qi shu wen he is the basic idea of tang geng’s ancient literary thoughts throughout Tang Geng’s ancient prose theory. Combine with the Work analysis, the wen shu theory and writer theory of Tang Geng ‘s ancient work repeatedly confirm the qi shu wen he theory.The fourth chapter introduces the value and influence of Tang Geng’s qi shu wen he theory. Tang Geng develop his qi shu wen he theory base on Han yu’s qi sheng yanyi theory and solve the problem of qi and paper form. Makes up the blank of hanyu’s wen qi theory.
