A Study On The Fill In The New Words In The New HSK Reading Part

HSK(Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is a state-level standard test established to assess the Chinese proficiency of nonnative speakers. HSK is divided into two versions:the old and the new. HSK was implemented in 1989 and called the old HSK before 2009. The Office of Chinese Language Council International launched the new HSK in Nov.2009 based on advantages of the old version. The new HSK attach more importance to test the examinees’ ability of application. The new HSK promote the international promotion of Chinese better.This paper mainly studies the gap filling in the new HSK from level one to six in the reading part. In the new HSK, reading part is an important topic. However, in the reading part, gap filling have an extremely important position. And according to the different requirements from level one to six, the gap filling increased the difficulty gradually.This article studies the gap filling respectively in Primary Level(1、2 level)、 Intermediate Level(3、4 level)、 Advanced Level(5、6 level), and summarized some accurate and effective test-taking skills for the nonnative speakers and some teaching suggestions for Chinese teachers..
