On The Significance Of The Theory Of "Androgyny" In Female Writing

The Androgyny thought, as a literary criticism, submitted by Woolf, to attract attention in an academic circle. The Androgyny theory which played the role of harmonious coexistence provides new ideas for creators. Half a century later, Helene Cixous inherited the thought of this theory, combining with the actual, made a new theoretical innovations depended on androgyny theory, and put forward the feminine writing theory. This paper takes Woolf and Helene Cixcous "androgyny" theory as the object of study, mainly expanded the connotation of "androgyny" given by the two literary theorists and show how to use their theory in the work.
