Micro - Film "back" Director Interpretation Report

The film "The dark figure" tells the story of a high school student Zhou Xiaotong looking for the last photo about his died father with the help of his teacher Miss Liu. Zhou Xiaotong is an outstanding high school student, in a study of Zhu Ziqing’s prose " My father’s figure " on the Chinese language lesson, the teacher asked the class to write an essay about father, and take a photo of father. But Zhou Xiaotong’s father died in a car accident a year ago, the only picture now in the hands of his father’s former students Zhang Yang. Zhang Yang is now a graduating senior, has deep estrangement with his father because of different planned for the future. Zhou Xiaotong attempts through various ways to search for the photo, but failed. His teacher Miss Liu help him found the photo. And Zhang Yang was moved by Zhou Xiaotong, eventually eliminated the gap with father. Zhou Xiaotong had read his touching essay " My dear father " in the classroom..The film "The dark figure " is the first time I personally by the authorship creation of film. The story of the film is from a real events. But in the end, the film’s script has great discrepancy from the true story. In this film my job is mainly as a writer and a director. So in this paper, I will illustrates the process of the film from two aspects about written and directed, and summarize the creative practice.
