National image is a cognitive system, including self-perception of a country and its citizens, and the perception of other actors in the international system.In some way,it can reflect the country’s comprehensive strength,soft power or influence.With China’s rapid economic growth in 30 years, there is a great appeal about the spread and construction of China’s national image.On the one hand, China hopes to show the world China’s developing experiences,social systems and lifestyles, let the world understand China better;on the other hand, China also hopes that there are more speaking right,interest and space through the spread and construction of the national image in the international political and economic system.So in recent years,government agencies,enterprises and the media, or even individuals, all devote much more resources and vigor to the construction of national image.National image is a dynamic constructive cognitive system.There are many resources and ways to construct China’s national image,but it is difficult for us to confirm the functions of these investment,the proportion of every kind of these ways,the logic connections among these ways and so on.So in this paper, I showed various ways of Chinese construction ways of the national image,and then focused on the China’s national year emerging in recent years.It is a new way that I want to carefully discuss the course of its development, the success or the failure,the gain and the loss, the mechanism of performance feedback, and possible future.Maybe through this way of construction,we can have a renewed cognition and summary about the process,system and mechanism of construction of China’s national image. And this design of image may be to a reference or a thinking point.When we strove to the achievements and problems in the process of construction of national image,we would obtain some enlightenment for the construction in the future.China’s cultural year overseas is a large platform of cultural communication.It has significant function for audience when we know their interests of all kinds of participants.This paper had concluded the process of China’s cultural year overseas, and I try my best to find the problems and experiences,maybe there are some assistance for china’s national image.Of course I just throw a sprat.
