The Yongle Encyclopedia is not only a huge genus-book in our country, but alsoa precious historical heritage in terms of the book itself. Volume905to Volume909isbooklists of various homes, which is from Li Ling in Han dynasty to The Song ofPlum Blossom written by Wang Dashan in Ming dynasty. There are five parts inbooklists of various homes, page372to page399belongs to part one to part three,and page8586to page8608is the content of part four and part five. The booklists ofvarious homes begin with Xue Daoheng and ends with story. This paper will illustrateTang poems from three aspects.First of all, the style of poetry of various homes and poetry are firstly analyzed.based on the analysis, the style provides with the assessments of general literature,Chao Gongwu and Chen Zhensun and the assessments of famous expert in differentdynasties. The way of combination of election and assessment provides with basiccontent materials. Tang poems are divided into individual works and generalcollection. Individual works provides with a writer’s life background, thoughts, andachievements as well as the basis of the edition of general collection. Generalcollection provides with an essential literature basis of literature phenomenon in acertain age.In addition, Most abstract is intact, and whether in the history of literarycriticism or the philology perspective, the value of them is important.Last but not the least, the view of Tang poems in the YongleEncyclopedia．Poems of various homes is illustrated. The view of Tang poems in theeyes of the people in Tang dynasty is firstly illustrated then followed by the viewanalyzed. The repeated parts and the assessments independent of writer are deleted inthe process of the transcription of the Yongle Encyclopedia, of Tang poems in the eyeof the people in Song dynasty and last ended with the view of Tang poems in the eyeof the people in Yuan dynasty. Through the analysis, the finding that the view of Tangpoems got developed with past dynasties succeeding to anther is presented. The view of Tang poems in Tang dynasty pursues the syntax of Tang poems and emphasizes thesocial functions of Tang poems. It’shistoriography and poetics’ s dual character makes it not only an important culturalcarrier as we study the history and culture of the Tang Dynasty,but also an importantobject as we study the development of the poetry art.This paper just does littleresearch of poems in Tang dynasty, finds out the differences existing in transcription,and illustrates the view of Tang poems shown by poems of various homes in the hopeof providing richer material with the study Tang poems and providing anotherreference material with the study of the Yongle Encyclopedia.
