The study of The Analects plays anabsolutely important role on researching ancient classics. Cui Shu distinguished its true or falsefrom different perspectives and finally proposed several problems in his book, for instance: onlyZi Zhang which recorded disciple’s deeds and actions, was not suspected at the five texts fromthe bottom; on the contrary, there are too much suspicion on The Jis, Yang Huo, Wei Zi, YaoSpoke; there are one or two chapters which is occasionally dissimilar with others at the late of thefirst fifteen texts; and there are different types of writing in around ten texts. On account of thearchaeological discoveries and handed-down documents at present, those problems raised by CuiShu and many research methods are worthy of being discussed again.
