Music is an indispensable part in people’s life, patriotic songs plays a rendering andeducative significance in the music. Not only people but also education that need music.Especially for prisoners, they may have changed in their inner darkness; what have exist in theirinner heart are the old, dirty buildings and ruins instead of the flat land. Therefore, the process ofcultivating prisoners is not easy, appreciating the patriotic songs can make them understandmusic and purify their spirit, continuous learning patriotism thought, so as to change their worldoutlook, the outlook on life and values.This paper focuses on the spiritual reform of patriotic songs on the prisoners, trying tochange the traditional modal of management reform, exploring new effective ways to reduce thepain of the prisoners as soon as possible to make them become law-abiding citizens.Prisoners also said criminals, refers to the prison for a crime ". It has three basiccharacteristics: one is the implementation of crime of natural person; Second, the court shall bein accordance with the law of a certain person; Third, people are punished with criminal penalty.Today the means of educate the prisoners are basically the traditional management modals suchas housekeeping, prisoners system management regulations and other laws or regulations, thesecan to some extent change the prisoner’s thoughts and understanding of the outlook on life, but itis hard to make them get detention and repentance from the heart. This paper mainly use themethod of appreciating revolutionary songs to purify prisoners’ mind so as to change the formermanagement mode, then add revolutionary songs in their education on the basis of the basicmanagement regulations.Music can cultivate people’s sentiment, patriotic songs by its unique form adds color to ourlives, making our hearts get infection and more accurately let people understand the connotationof the beauty in life, so as to distinguish the good and the evil. So patriotic songs can indicate abright road for the prisoners who lack of social responsibility and have narrow decadent ideas.With the development of social politics, economy and civilization, cultivation of prisonersincreasingly attracts people’s attention. From the present situation of my research, you can seethat recent studies are mostly research on the new rules, new periodicals, and new publicationsbased on the conventional regulations.. But due to the influence of many aspects, the form ofappreciation of patriotic songs to enlightenment the prisoners is still not generalized. This topicattempts to combine the prisoners and the appreciation of patriotic songs, then according to thefeatures of prisoners and defects of body and mind to make effective educational methods,through the appreciation of revolutionary songs make body and mind get healthy development.This targeted research is in accord with the China’s national conditions and the need of future development, reflecting the educational idea of people-oriented and equal education which isadvocated by the current society. At the same time I hope that this can make a contribution to theeducational career of Chinese special music.
