It makes a brand-new work by retaining the original part of the element,and then integrating new content which the creator need to express.Film shot out by this adaptationkeeps both the orinigal subversion and heritage of the original."The Lion King","The Banquet"and "Prince of the Himalayas," these three films were produced in a different cultural context by thefilmmakers, which obtained different responses in intercultural communication.In this paper, author discuss the cross-cultural nature of “Hamlet†under the perspective oftransmission of cross-cultural context. Then author make a comparsion between the original andthree adaptations to analyse why “Hamletâ€can be adapted in this or that way combining their ownsocial environment,cultule and language of three original creators, what’s more,author alsoanalyses that what kind of consequences the finished product of film adaptation will produce andattempts to summarize the general strategy of film adaptation of intercultural communication forproviding an theory base to future film. |
