Research On The Creation Of Sand Animation

Animation is a special audio-visual language art. It can express the artists’ mind and emotionand the cultural meaning of the society while transmitting the aesthetics. It has an experimentalcharacter more or less. The sand animation, as a type of experimental animation, is the inevitableoutcome of the development of experimental animation during the time when the animation isdeveloping rapidly. And it also has a significant meaning to the development of experimentalanimation. The author chooses sand animation as the research target and tries to define its concept.The author also wants to analyze its reason of development specifically and state its developingprocedure by analyzing the relating works of the great artists. At last, we can analyze the trend ofthe creation of sand animation and consequently think deeply about the teaching of the animation byanalyzing the characteristics of the animation such as: format content culture transmission and itsdefects currently, comparing the Chinese sand animation to western sand animation and analyzingthe typical works. This article makes a comprehensive analysis and research about sand animationby uniting the aesthetics literature advertising communication and culturology together, aiming toadd a theoretical base to the creation and practice of the animation of China.
