Sijieshixuan is the poetry anthology of Ming dynasty which was coauthored and commented by two famous poets Yaoquan and Sun Zhiwei between the Ming_Qing Dynasties. This anthology is not only the direct outcome of poetry restoration of late Ming Dynasty, but also the significant evidence of the search of people of early Qing dynasty’s attitudes towards Ming Dynasty’s poems. There are953pomes with several styles created by four poets Li Mengyang、He Jingming、Wang Shizhen and Li Panlong from1488to1567in Sijieshixuan, in which comments on poems are in detail, restoration of old poetry forms is advocated and natural disposition and intelligence is reconciled. The anthology focuses on creativity of poetry and emphsises on emotion,as well. It reflects poetry style of that special period.This thesis is based on analysis of poetry materials and interpretation of the selected poems. The thesis consists of four parts. Chapter one briefly differentiates Yaoquan’s name, time of birth and death, his works, making friends in order to show his life and personality. In chapter two, based on historical background, Social ideological trend and poetry evolution, it analyzes causes and representation of change of poetry of between the Ming_Qing Dynasties and make generalizations of poems of this period. Chapter three thoroughly studies Sijishixuan’s anthology motivation, their scale, selected standards, commentary features and its advocation of poetry style. In chapter four, it in details analyzes Yaoquan’s perspectives on poems’genres and findings of new meanings, statements of Sijieshixuan’s prosody and summarization of evaluation of this anthology in order to explore its role and significance of Sijieshixuan in the anthology’s field of betweeng Ming_Qing Dynasty.In a word, Sijieshixuan is the direct outcome of poetry restoration of early Qing Dynasty and the representative anthology of poetry Promoting The Forme and Later Sevens of Ming Dynasty. At the same time, It also reflected Yaoquan’s original intention to the Renaissance of Feng and Ya as his own duty.
