It is not difficult to find the language and context are inseparable through the study of language. Communicative activities are dependent on the context. Therefore, the context is an important factor that Influences language understanding and accurate use of the people, it is communication media. With the development of linguistics theory, context theory also plays a more and more important role. Especially in foreign language teaching, the important role of context of situation is growing more and more attention.Second the goal of language teaching is to enable learners to fully grasp the second language knowledge, and can in daily communication accurately appropriately use second language to communicate. The purpose of this paper is according to the related content of context theory, context theory to vocabulary teaching Chinese as a foreign language, by creating a different context makes it easier for students to understand and grasp the meaning and usage of words. This paper discusses how to bring all kinds of context into vocabulary teaching, based on the previous research some basic concepts of context and elements, including the linguistic context, situational context, social cultural context. The context and can play in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, followed by an analysis of what kind of word is more suitable to explain the context method, proposed creating a context should follow the principle.Finally, through the teaching practice summarizes the context teaching should pay attention to the problem. The author hopes the study on context, can provide certain reference significance to the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
