A Study On The Artistic Characteristics Of The Pipa Song Of The Dong Nationality In

The Chejiang Dong Pipa songs of the Dong People in Chejiang are the importantindivisibility part of the daily life of the Dong People living in Chejiang TownRongjiang County, Qian Dong Nan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture,GuizhouProvince. The people here often make the use of Lute playing and singing songs toexpress their happiness, anger, sorrow and joy. With this unique form of music, thelives of the Dong People here are presented incisively and vividly.Based on the collected first hand information by the author’s lot of field workand the obtained second-hand information during a long term, the artisticcharacteristics of the words of song and the tune singing methods of the ChejiangDong Pipa songs of the Dong People in Chejiang have been analyzed and summed inthis paper with the starting point from the national customs, holiday customs andtraditional ceremonies of the Dong People in Che Jiang.And based on that,the currentunfavorable status quo and the reasons existed of the Chejiang Dong Pipa songs of theDong People in Chejiang have been analyzed. In addition,the author’s views havebeen suggested involving how to protect the Chejiang Dong Pipa songs of the DongPeople in Chejiang. It is hoped to give readers a comprehensive understanding of theChejiang Dong Pipa songs of the Dong People in Chejiang, especially their artisticcharacteristics, aiming at causing the high degree of concern and attention of thewhole society to the lute songs of the Dong People in Chejiang in order to strengththeir inheritance and protection. Meanwhile, it is also hoped to provide smallreference materials for the futural researchers engaged in the study of the lute songs ofthe Dong People in Chejiang. The text in this paper is divided into4chapters with30,000words in all.Chapter1involving the living environments of the Chejiang Dong Pipa songs ofthe Dong People in Chejiang: their living environments are discussed from the anglesof the unique natural geographical environments and cultural and historicalenvironments; Chapter2involving the concert customs and the musicalaccompaniments; Chapter3involving their music ontology features which is themajor part discussed in this paper. Chapter4involving their current status quo andinheritance, at the end of this Chapter are author’s some considerations.
