Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Stasis theory is based on the inheritance and development of TCM Qi Deficiency core theory and Phlegm Stasis core theory. As the important part of Chinese medicine culture, Qi deficiency and Phlegm stasis theory is widely used in history and Qi deficiency and Phlegm stasis syndrome is common in clinical. This study based on previous studies is summarized highly using Cluster analysis and deeply、systematically organized the Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Stasis theory. Including the following contents:1. Revise the root source of Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Stasis theory2. Sort out the development contexts of Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Stasis theory3. Explain the connotation of Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Stasis theory4. Study the etiology and pathogenesis of Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Stasis theory5. Analyze the ancient physicians in drug usages rules on nourishing Qi, eliminating phlegm and activating sludge.This study uses dynasty and representative physicians literary books in every dynasty as chechlist to collect the literatures. Including utilize the source of<<National Union Catalog of Chinese medicine books>><<Encyclopedia of Ancient and Modern Medical System>><< Ancient Books Set. Medical Department>><<China Medical Code>>and databases of CNKI、CBM、VIP、ARTICLES. By collecting literatures, analyze the theoretical research and clinical study of Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Stasis situation and establish the thesis.The root of Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Stasis theory is traced mainly by reading medical records and works, through the point of Chinese literature study to sort out the academic origins, basic research, opinion of similarities and differences. For the prescriptions study of Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Stasis syndrome, this study refers to many books and uses ways of Cluster analysis, data collection and data summarized, coming out the conclusion in principle of treatment in and before Tang dynasty:activating blood, activating sludge, eliminating phlegm and dispersing cold, nourishing Qi. The principle of treatment in Song、Jins Yuan dynasty:supplying Yang and nourishing Qi plus activating blood, activating sludge and eliminating phlegm, especially paying attention on the debilitated body role in sludge and phlegm syndrome. The principle of treatment in Min、Qing dynasty:activating blood and Qi and eliminating phlegm.
