The application system framework for insurance business process system has been host-terminal pattern or tradition client/server pattern for a long time .The traditional data processing mode has been already unable to meet variety and complexity demand in running,management of the insurance due to market competition is becoming fiercer . At the same time,with constant development of computer technology,more and more insurance application software are changing from concentrated pattern to distributed pattern. Distributed computing is the primary technology in the distributed application system framework . The distributed computing technology can make many kinds of resources distributed in the computer network realize the information sharing . It can solve application interactive operation question, system administration question, system security problem under isomerism environment and so on. In the recent 20 years,the distributed computing technology has already moved to maturity progressively . Distributed computing technology has been developed into distributed object technology.The distributed architecture has also experienced 2tier C/S model, 3tier C/S model, until N-tier C/S model. N-tier C/S structure contains five layers by division of application logic layer of 3tier C/S model: User interface layer, expression logic layer,service logic layer,foundation frame service layer and data layer.In practical application, the service logic layer is also divided into certain component sets, each component completes a small service function . The user interface layer usually needs to connect certain component sets to complete an independent service logic. In Client/Server pattern, the middleware technology is usually used to realize distributed processing, in order to expand the application to the different operating system and the different network environment . Distributed processing technology has also developed from tradition middleware technology to present platform middleware technology. The middleware is one class of foundation software , belongs reusable software category.The middleware locates at middle of the operating system software and user application software,above the operating system,network and the database, under application software.Its function is to provide for application software in support of the running environment and the development environment ,to make user develope and integrate complex application software flexibly and effectively . The tradition middleware is for application logic . middleware products are embedded in host language in form of procedure .All kinds of interface API is programmed by developer .Client program communicates with server by calling these interfaces. Now , The tradition middleware mainly divides into transmission-oriented ,transaction-oriented and object-oriented. The platform middleware is encapsulation of tradition middle .It is for running environment.Because the platform middleware has already abstracted the majority of foundations frame service,The developer may concentrate their energy in the application logic and the correlative service. Middleware has the following some characteristics:may meet a large of demand of applications,may run in the many kinds of hardware and the OS platform,support distributed computation ,provides transparent application or the interactive service across network, hardware and the OS platform ,supports standard protocol ,supports the standard interface.middleware has become main work of standardization because of importance of standard interface for Portability and standard protocol for interactive operation .For application software development ,middleware is more important than the operating system and the network service. program's interface provided by middleware may define a upper layer applied environment of opposite stability.when hardware and system software is changed,application software need modification scarcely by updating middleware product and keeping middleware's interface.Thus,important investment of enterprise is protected in application software developmentand maintain . Middleware technology has been changing from tool technology to framework technology.Point to management characteristic of large-scale insurance enterprise ,useing the middleware technology in insurance business system to solve each kind of problem which the distributed application brings becomes a shortcut.therefore , The key of realization of distributed insurance application system is how to use middleware,and specially,profession characteristic of insurance must be considered. Point to the enterprise characteristic, the thesis puts forward an middleware-based enterprise application system framework . This framework firstly marking out the middle layer of distributed application system, abstracts four areas: product integration area ,application logic adapter,expression diversion area and application component area, then based on switch mechanism, reposefully implements switchover of middleware products, lastly puts forward an enterprise application system framework. This framework solves the problem of enterprise application system that is marking out uniform middle layer management, classfing basic middleware products, having the ability of containing them. When instantiation concretely, it can change different middleware products and have ability of upgrading reposefully. The thesis implements an insurance application system using middleware-based insurance enterprise application system framework. This system requires the architecture can be distributed or centralized, and it can't be fixed on certain middleware product when distributed. The system has three parts: user interface layer,application logic layer and data management layer. User interface layer requires two ways which are terminal and web browser, and has uniform services. Although there's still a lot of work to do in practice, the result of fact shows that the system framework has flexibility,practicability and achieves our expecting.
