In the recent years, China and other countries had researched many types computer monitor internets in order to monitor coal mine safe production, But the equipments are very expensive, Most of small scale coal mines have much burden, While commonly safe accident happens in the production process of the small scale coal mine. Therefore, The paper designs a low-cost coal mine monitor system in order to satisfy the requirement of most of middle and small coal mine.The low-cost coal mine monitor system is to realize by using MCU technology and multi-machine communication technology , It has the trait of low-cost low power consumption manipulating easily powerful functions reliability highly and installing easily , It is mainly used by monitor of middle and small coal mine , especially small ; Based the specially requirement of middle andsmall coal mine, The system has two composition pattern to choose, Generally small coal mine chooses pattern two to monitor; Because this design can replace the intelligent controller of high price with the intelligent sensor of cheap price, it makes low cost become possible. To realize the design of low power consumption, all hardware parts adopted by this design all are low power consumption, and adopt the software design thought of low power consumption.The monitor system of the design is composed of the master computer and the slave MCU. PC is used as master computer , it carries out programming using VB 6.0 , realizing the real data collect of coal mine drawing the real and historical curve correcting the controlling parameters to complete the coal mine monitor ; While the slave MCU adopts the intelligent methane sensor to realize, using LCD's display function to complete coal mine monitor.The intelligent methane sensor as the slave MCU can carry out collecting the data displaying calculating and controlling functions independently separating from the upper device , it has 8 pathanalog measure inputs , 8 path On/off measure inputs and outputs ; 8 path analog measure inputs are used as 4 path methane analog measure inputs and 4~20mA general analog measure inputs, 8 path On/off measure inputs are used as monitoring electric devices' running state, 8 path On/off measure outputs are used as 4 path methane analog measure inputs' voice and light alarm and relay output control; The paper introduces the intelligent methane sensor's software and hardware design in detail, the design adopts the alter-low power consumption MSP430F449 MCU of MSP430 serial of TI company in order to satisfy the requirement of low power consumption.The following is my work in this paper: Designing the coal mine methane monitor system applying to medium and small coal mine; Designing and carrying out the hardware circuits of the intelligent methane sensor; Completing the software design and the program writing of the intelligent methane sensor; Completing the computation of A/D conversion leeway of MSP430F449 ; Completing the computation of methane measuring leeway ; Completing the computation of general analog collecting leeway ;Completing the function design and the program writing of the upper PC ; Giving the process of the experiment design of the system.Because the limit of many conditions and the ability in stock, the paper only carries out the principle design and principle experiment validate, the practical design doesn't complete, it still demands doing lots of jobs to sale in the market.
