Research And Development Of Distance Assisted Instruction System Based On B/S

CAI is regarded as the fourth education revolution in human's education history following the appearance of characters, the founding of school and the invention of printing. With the development of educational reform and the advance of social information,it is essential to popularize CAI. The thesis discusses the design and implementation of a CAI software based on B/S structure model, through a research work——"the base of computer technology". "Base of computer technology"is a pubic course in college,and so many students but with different cognition level involve in it. The development and application of CAI software based on B/S will realize learning resource sharing, provide space of individuation and enhance teaching efficiency greatly. This paper analyses design philosophy and design approach of CAI software from the viewpoint of learning theory of Psychology. Combined with didactical requirements, the CAI software should have such basic functions as system management, course studying, self-test evaluation, exercises providing, answering questions online. This system adopts ASP technology based on Web and structure model of B/S. This thesis researches such technologies as structure model of B/S, Web server, ASP.NET and database, and further designs following detailed procedure to realize system based on structure model of B/S: Firstly utilizing the developing instrument of web Page, that is, Dreamweaver MX, to design and develop website's overall style,the interface,style of navigating and supplementary functions needed studying courses; Secondly, by utilizing ASP.NET technology to carry on real procedure making,to reach various functions of websites and teaching purposes,such as manipulating supporter's database backstage, realizing website's registration and log on, realizing search offered for studying and tracking studying; Thirdly, to keep security maintenance.
