With the rapid speed development of computer science, communication technology and other technologies, the visibility of information becomes the new field of application development and the simulation training technology based on DIS (Distributed Interactive Simulation) is being increasingly the focus of currently research. This paper analyze the status of the development of DIS technology and the application of developed two-dimensions simulator, base on these, and combine the technology of man-machine interactive, establish simulating system of three-dimensions, stereo, Distributed and interactive for Submarine navigated training. Including the 3Ds static model and active model setting up of the visual instrument and visual cabin and so on, and develops the scene simulation system, which has the VR characteristic. The research work includes several parts as fellow:First, the significance and importance of this task is presented by carefully analyzing the status of the DIS technology and application of submarine simulator in this paper. The method of how to realize the distributed system and agreement of communication is also presented. The TCP/IP realization base on WinSock is also designed in this paper.Second, a software named MultiGen is used to model the visual instrument and visual submarine cabin. In the process of modeling, the method is mostly based on graphics, which includes the solid models, sound models, active models and background models. The key technology of the software relating to the characteristic of modeling visual cabin is researched. After set up the scene database, the models are well optimized.Third, Real-time man-machine interactive system based on space ball, data glove and so on is established. The paper presents the theory and methods of the system. Based on two eyes parallax, we decide to use stereoscopic glasses and 3D imaging driver realized the stereo scene display.Finally, Real-time roaming is fulfilled by using a VR development software named Vega and the design process of scene roaming is offered. The keytechnology of collision check-up and interactive control are also finely researched in this paper.The project of simulator with visual system, communicating system, Man-machine interactive system has been accomplished and the experiment also has well been done. Recently, the visual system and related devices will consign to navy.
