This paper is mainly about the analysis,design and implementation of Real-time digital logger system which fundamental function is to record and replay the voice and radar data. The Real-time digital logger system, the instance of this paper, based on the RTOS QNX is analyzed and designed with Object-Oriented method which is very helpful for realizing the complex functions of programs,the maintainability and the system upgrade. The content of this paper is arranged as follows: Firstly, the total introduction of the voice/radar logger's application fields is made. Secondly, the paper presents the background,the objective and the meaning of the author's research and introduces the author's work in the Real-time digital logger system development. Next, the paper introduces the real-time system and the conceptions that concerned,the environment and tools to develop the Real-time digital logger system, and the total design proposal and key technologies description. The body of the paper gives description in detail on analyzing and realizing of the key technologies of the system. Chapter 3 analyses the advantages and disadvantages of several real-time scheduling algorithms and presented a scheduling algorithm that suitable for the Real-time digital logger system and capable of improving the real-time ability of the Real-time digital logger. Chapter 4 emphasizes on the study of voice coding technology by comparing several voice coding algorithms and introducing the theories and software decoding proposals of two algorithms which are ADPDM and GSM 13kb/s RPE-LTP. At the last of the paper, through the analysis of the testing result of the Real-time digital logger and the comparison between the Real-time digital logger and other logger products domestically and abroad, it proves that the the Real-time digital logger has higher real-time ability,more powerful process ability and fault tolerant ability. The paper also shows the the Real-time digital logger's application prospect and its disadvantages. After a year's research and development, the Real-time digital logger system has passed system testing. It runs stable and its functions are complete. If made into production, it would generate substantial sum of social and economic benefits. the Real-time digital logger system is a successful trial in logger field; it makes a measure of contribution to the research and the development of logger production in our country.
