The Explicit Expression Of Components' Dependency And Its Application

Software reusablility and maintainability have become increasingly important with its growing complexity and scope. Due to its high reusability and maintainability, component-based software(CBS) has been the focus of software development in recent years. However, the current component standards emphasize on mutual-operation implementation, and the dependency among components are hidder within the implementation , which result in the problem of composing mismatches, and also makes it difficult to reuse and manage components. Up to date many research projects exist in the field of the expression of components' dependency, but nearly none of them can resolve the problems completely.This thesis firstly gives an introduction of development of COM component technology and the core theory of it, and then illustrate the dependency of COM component, and the explicit expression of components' dependency.By analyzing the domain of component producing, we introduce a special domain component, and design COMCDER tool and COMCDC tool. So we present a new approach for the explicit expression of components' dependency in the after-treatment way.If the problem of components' dependency were sovled, the use of COM technology would be more reliable, and it would promote the application of COM technology.
