The inverted pendulum is a typical high order system, with fleet, multivariable, nonlinear, absolutely instable. The theory and methods of the inverted pendulum's control can be extensively used to deal with the industrical procss.In this paper the model of the inverted pendulum is derived and analyzed, and then the control strategy and implements in practical experiments is studied.Firstly, the mathematical model of a double inverted pendulum is derived in detail by using Newton mechanics and analysis mechanics. And then the former program based on C language is transplanted and optimized.Secondly the Table Querying Algorithm is introduced, by introducing the Input-output Data pairwise and the Importance Degrees of fuzzy rules, the redundant rules can be reduced and the fuzzy controller is more simple and effective. By using the Dynamic Importance Degrees, the roles of the input items in system performance can be directly controlled and the priority orders of the input items can be definitely distinguished. By using the SIRMS, the number of fuzzy rules can be reduced significantly and the setting of fuzzy rules becomes easy.
