As a sign of the human information society, Internet is keeping on increasing in an unimaginable speed. Nowadays Internet has been widely divergent from ARPANET, which is a prototype of Internet. Because of the present Internet's complexity, We can absolutely regard it as an ecosystem with computers being the components. It is the human being who has built Internet, but nobody can tell what it looks like and how it runs exactly. The studies on Internet bring along the studies on complex network. In recent years, complex network has become a new hot spot in the Computer Science field. There is still a question about how to discover the laws of the complex network system in the real world by researching the complex network models. Before about the study of Internet scientists focused on the micro-world of network including hardware device, network protocols and so on. So it is very difficult in discovering the macro network rule and characteristics. In order to solve this question the author analyze the character of the complex network study before and adopt to build network models and design the spread arithmetic to test and validate them. First introduce the background and the process of the complex network and the actuality about the study of complex network. Then it is followed by the key part focuses on the study of the process of building the model of complex network. Including not only Small-World network model and Scale-Free network model but also regular and random network model. At the same time builds a model of Internet. Next on the basis of the above built complex network model this thesis is to design a simple spread-arithmetic and test it in that model. Finally the author concludes some sum-ups about the network topology and its transmitting characteristics on the basis of his study. Here the author hopes what he has done is a meaningful attempt in this field.
