Analysis And Research Based On IBM Aglet Mobile Agent

With the rapid development of Internet, the current data become larger and traditional network technology brings more and more problems. Therefore, the researchers posed a completely original network technology, Agent in the 1990s. This technology doesn't rely on internet connection very much, supports the out-of-line operation, has the trait of intelligence and can operate automatically the program and provide the relative services. MA is a branch of Agent. In addition to Agent's basic traits, such as automation, target driving, reaction and operation continuity, etc, it focuses on the movability, asynchronism and intelligence because of its main use in the Internet. As to the technology, MA absorbs the van's advantages such as process transfer, remote calculation and the target movability and fulfills these aims with the technology of facing target programming. So MA has a prospective market in distributed information inquiry, user's personal handling, IT, Internet administration, electronic commerce and remote study, etc. This thesis has a further and systemic study of Aglets, elaborates the system bottom model and program joint and analyses the system's basic composition and inner mechanism. Also on the basis of above-mentioned researches, I put forward an interactive pattern combining Master-Slave and Itinerary and fulfill the NHIGS on the basis of Aglet platform in accordance with this pattern. This thesis is mainly comprised of four parts: Part â… : the general introduction of Agent, especially MA. I conclude the occurring background and current study status of MA. Also it elaborates the conception of Agent and Mobile Agent including Agent's definition, features, classifications, and relationship with facing user technology and MA's definition and traits. It focuses on the MA's advantages and application field. Part â…¡: The differences of MA and other distributed calculation technologies. It compares MA with other calculation modes such as client/server, remote calculation, code transferred according to requirement, etc and we can reveal MA's advantages over other modes. The passage also states MA's system composition, systemic institution and safety. In the end, it compares several common MA platforms and shows why I take Aglet platform as the topic.
