The gear wheel spring is a main part in the automobile locks. The whole part is made of hard plastics, One of its' end is gear wheel, another end cylindrical, which surface is inserted with spring. The cylindrical torsion that is rotating on the surface is a very important parameter in the spring. It will influence the normal work of the automobile locks if the figure of the parameter is too big or too small. So, before assembling the automobile locks, the torsion must be gauged.The main factors that influence the size of torsion are elasticity degree, plastic cylinder camber deviation and surface smooth, etc. To the former problem, we must change the spring, and to the latter we can solve it through polishing. Therefore, the spring quality test equipment of gear wheel should possess such several parts of functions as polishing, torsion measuring, quality judging and go-no-go ,etc.On the basis of studying the spring quality test equipment technological process of the gear wheel and control request, the test chose various kinds of measuring and controlling the equipment, regarded PLC as the core and formed the control system, finished program and achieved the automatic control of the test equipment.
