Design And Realization Of Network Examination System Of Based On UML

With the extensive application of network technique in the educating realm, the traditional examination method faces an important change. To test with the network is just a good method, which has a lot of superiority that the traditional examination hasn't. It can save a great deal of manpower and material resources, improve the efficiency and quality of the examination. Besides, the Web testing system based on the web technology can recur to Internet, which makes the network examination carried out very easily. Therefore, the network examination will become the inevitable trend in the examination development. And to explore a web testing system with perfect functions has already become an urgent wish of most teachers and students. This paper mainly inquiries into the technology involving in the network examination system, and discusses the design and the realization of the Web testing system.In the function,the system mainly has five features as the following: First is the digitalization of examination question bank. To put questions in computer and manage them with the database technique provides convenience to the storing, sorting, searching and working out of test papers. Second is the randomness of providing test papers. The system can select test papers at random according to the testing tactics, which greatly improves the efficiency of organizing test questions. Third is the adjustment and renewal of papers according to actual circumstance. The system can evaluate and analyze the results of examinations. With the analysis, teachers can adjust and renew the test questions and strengthen the vitality of examination question bank. Forth is the help to the justice, fairness and standardization of testing and grading. The randomness of selecting test papers by computer avoids revealing test questions before examinations, thus ensures the fairness and justice of examinations. The scores of objective questions depends on the testing system, which improves the efficiency and accuracy of the grading, avoids the easier mistakes caused by manual grading and offers standardization for the testing process. Fifth is the efficient store of data. It's very convenient to store test papers and test scores in the database, helpful for examinees to search their scores and advantageous to increase the publicity and transparency of examinations.Moreover,the system mainly has five features in the technique as the following:First is the whole system carried out the distributed processing and the reasonable resources of realization scheme by applying the three layer structures.Second is that the data structure is reasonable by using the database of SQL Server2000 in thesystem.Third is that the system can adopt more question types and carry out more methods in forming paper by designing the bettere strategy of forming. Fourth is that the interfacecarry of the system is more friendly by using a great deal of DHTML technique.Fifth is that using the system is more convenient by using the terrace of WEB in Customer's machinem,and it deedn't install the additional software.Currently the network examination system has already developed completely and been tried out in the examinations of public computer course. The result proves that the system has the function of testing and can reach the anticipant target.
