3D reconstruction of medical ultrasound image is the main area in medical data 3D visualization, and an important research branch in science data visualization. The 3D reconstruction of medical ultrasound image is to display the medical information in 3D style to provide more comprehensive medical information directly, and has more practical value in clinical diagnosis, treatment and basic medical study. In this thesis, the author has studied the theories of 3D reconstruction from medical ultrasound image ,designed algorithms to process ultrasound images and reconstruct three-dimensional eyeball from ultrasound images. The following tasks are my major job in this thesis: 1. The author has summarized the latest research achievement and development of three-dimensional reconstruction of medical images. 2. The author analyzed the theory of medical ultrasound image and put forward an algorithm based on eyeball character to locate the eyeball in the ultrasound image. 3. Medical ultrasound images are related, so the author designed an algorithm based on correlation to adjust the ultrasound images. 4. The interval of the ultrasound image acquired by ultrasound imaging system is so long that discriminability between two ultrasound images is worse than that in one ultrasound image. In order to equal the discriminability of eyeball's volume data, we need interpolate some middle image between two ultrasound images. In this paper, we interpolated the image based on elastic matching. 5. The author analyzed the merits and disadvantages of different three dimensional reconstruction algorithm and used ray-casting algorithm to reconstruct the eyeball. The paper presents these methods in details. At the end of the article, we introduce the prospect of the following work.
