3D modeling technology was extensively used in the field of simulation and virtual reality.With the development of application,people presented a higher request for vivid and timely scene in virtual scene rendering.There have been developmented for geometry-based rendering(GBR),yet some drawback were emerged: One,for some sceneries whose complex extent exceed ability of computer's description/it's impossible to achieve Photorealistic. Two.time of processing is associated with the complex of scene,so it can not be rendered timely.Image-based rendering(IBR) rising since 1990s solved this problem and exploited a new field for computer graphics.Contrast to the traditional GBR,IBR avoids process of complex artifical modeling,can render rapidly and Photorealistic.Due to these advantages,IBR has become a hot issue and attracted many attentions of graphics researchers recently.This dissertation presents some improvements of the previous works in this field and focuses on the two main facts below:1. A kind of unregular geometry-based panoramic model that can implement 360° ramble in vivid virtual scene. Summarize current IBR technology,I find:in Panoramic modeling methods expressed by plenoptic function,Panoramic model is single geometry entity. The geometry entity surface that can be used is cylindrical surface, sphere surface and cube surface.But In fact,we can't achieve the goal of presenting vivid scene due to the facts of cylindrical surface's limitation of view, sphere's distortion and cube surface's accurate vidicon orientation.Aim at these drawback,we proposed a method of comprehensive dummy entity panorama: This method used an unregular geometry surface that is composed of sphere surface and cylindrical surface.First,after achieve panorama,the most important question is to do Latitude-Longitude Projection by construct hash function between panorama and dummy entity, dissect panorama and construct θ-Φ link table of scene before negative projection.Then,we must deside Negative Projection arithmetic which we will adopt according to corresponding 9-0 pieces and produce 9-0 local view.At last,we need transform local coordinate to whole coordinate.This panoramic model implements 360° ramble,overcomes sphere model's demerit of distortion.2. Construct 3D model of motion scenery from dymamic texture directly.It's a important problem to simulate some motion scenery in computer graphics ,such as cloud,fire,smoke and so on in nature.Most of existing arithmetics for synthesizing fire are based on particle system,a main drawback of which is heavy computation,On the other hand,it's easy to obtain dymamic image sequence of these motion scenery.Based on the two points,we proposed a novel a -body modeling arithmetic: Firstly,we need to learn inputed image sequence in order to create dynamic texture.Then we enter the key part of arithmetic: The color regions of image can be obtained by synthesizing tenture's boundary,Then draw the outline of image by scaning boundary of region and compute alpha value for every boundary of griddingaccording to distance away from the center.At last,circumgyrate every gridding and create 3D model.experimentation bear out that this modeling arithmetic of motion scenery is robust and consecutive.In the end of this paper,we introduce other three applications simulated with Direct3D in system.One is simulating real radar scaning motion objects timely,the other is simulating missle tracking motion objects intellective,the third is processing image with Direct3D,such as background eliminant.
