Laser underwater target detection technology is a new kind of advanced detection technology. It depends on many technologies including laser technology communication technology,signal process and recognition and electronical technology. Research and development in this field are very valuable. Now developed countries of Europe and America have established under water detection and research systems of their own,and have applied to military and civil fields.This dissertation first discusses main methods and applications of current underwater vision,and underwater imaging methods and characteristics based laser technology. Furthmore ,it analyses main technology characteristics of turbid water imaging system. Based on the research of laser underwater transmission characteristics, asynchronization scanning method of enlarging laser and laser synchronization scanning-point system which can overcome one way and mutil-ways scattering laser are proposed . The scanning point system makes use of synchronization scanning to overcome laser one way scattering and using the angle of laser transmitsion and receiver to overcome close quarter mutil-ways scattering by whole reflection . Experiments show that this system has good ability of eliminateing scattering and achieves design target. At last this dissertion discusses shortcomings of laser imaging methods and prospect.
