Pneumatic technology is an important branch of Fluid transmission and control technique. In recent years, Along with the rapid development of industry, industry automatization, incorporate machine and electricity become a big trend, so pneumatic technology also acquires substantial development. Especially, pneumatic technology has a lot of advantages such as cheap cost, high work efficiency, cleanlily and not contaminativing environment, economy energy, convenient usage with maintain, not high request to the environment and so on.Pneumatic technology has already got the more and more extensive application In each realm. Pneumatic technology has become one of the important means of realizing automation.This paper designed and studied its pneumatic system according to the request of straw checkerboard barriers paving robot, choosed component and discussed the applied problem of pneumatic technique on robot.Firstly, according to the basic request of the machine design, doing theo-Retical calculation to make sure the key parameter of the air cylinder of the two important tache; doing pneumatic theoretical selecting parts of the whole pneumatic system, including ascertainning parameter, optimizing the parts, at last choosing pneumatic component; drawing the theory diagram, introducing the whole work theory of the pneumatic system for the straw checkerboard barriers paving robot, and giving the control procedure frame diagram, in this part, designing a valve island according to the particular request.Secondly, introducing the common imitating software for pneumatic and hydraulic system, and imitating the whole work process of the pneumatic system for the straw checkerboard barriers paving robot. All these prove the rationality of the the systemic diagram of the theoretical design and selecting parts of the whole pneumatic system.Thirdly, introducing the experiment, this part proved the consistency of the imitating of FluidSIM v3. 5 by the experiment of concrete FluidSIM v3. 5 experiment plank and the laboratory experiment of the physics kind machine, then, the beginning theories design is further to be proved correct.Finally, the whole arrangement of the pneumatic system is drawed by large software Pro-E, then the installing position of all the pipeline is certain.Thus this method provided convenience for the installation processes, making the interfereing problem of machine design appear at first stage of designing. So, this method can accelerate the work progress of whole machine design.The study and evaluation of the pneumatic on choosing component given by the author of this paper provided use for reference for later pneumatic system devisers.The use of FluidSIM v3.5 and Pro-E provided a kind of process system for the wholeargumentation of pneumatic system, then it accelerated the designment and implement of the whole task.
