In recently years, internet data service and mobile data service are two developing most fast branchs of IT industry。 Conjunction of two kind services is inevitable in the future。 It is a worldwide fashion for scientists and researchers to study and develop a new technology named WBMCS(wireless wideband multimedia communication system) which melts Internet technology and mobile communication technology。 It can help human to realize a true global village dream。However, wireless multimedia means higher transmission speed and larger bandwidth;how to resolve the affection of the FSF(frequency selective fading) and ISI( inter symbol interface) in wireless channel becomes the focus of research。 In recent years, one kind of multi-carrier modulation technique named OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) is widely studied because it can effectively resolve those problems。In this dissertation,we first systemically discus OFDM's theory and arithmetic adapted by WLAN 's standard IEEE802.11a。 .Then we simulate OFDM system in the software platform which is built in matlab and include serval parts such as interleave, code, module, synchronization and so on and analyze the relationship between FER, mapping, channel and OFDM system performance 。 At last part,we design a FFT IP core which is centre part in OFDM system in VHDL language。 It not only can be used in WLAN system, but also adapt to other OFDM systems。...
