With the development of computer, multimedia and network technology, web-based learning is getting more and more popular for the advantages of none space-time limits, abundant learning resources, quick and accurate feedbacks etc. Proved to have particular learning advantages, Computer Supported Collaborative Learning is getting more and more support by more and more web-based learning systems in this process as well. However, the open web brings disadvantages with convenience. The web-based learning cannot ensure good teaching quality and learning effect for lacking of monitoring and guiding. The web-based cooperative learning has the same problem.This paper is pressed to solve the web-based cooperative learning monitoring problem. The writer points out the purpose of web-based cooperative learning monitoring specifically and analyzes the content especially the difficulty of it. Because it's difficult to evaluate the pertinency between students' cooperative communication content and the cooperative subject of different students studying different subject in different domain, the writer put forwards a domain dictionary. The feature of a certain cooperative subject is represented by domain dictionary so that the pertinency between students' cooperative communication content and the cooperative subject can be estimated to solve the pertinency monitoring problem.Based on the analysis above, an Web — based Synchronous Cooperative Learning Pertinency Monitoring System(WSCLPMS) model is constructed to resolve the pertinency monitoring problem.
