Research On Information Integration Technologies Based On Web Services And Metadata

With the exasperation of business competition and the development of global economy, Virtual Systems of Virtual Enterprise, Cooperative Design, Manufacture Based on Network Dynamic Enterprise alliance etc. will be the main enterprise schema in future. Information integration is the foundation and premise of Virtual System effective operation. And the establishment of information integration platform for Virtual System is becoming the research hotspot of enterprise informatization construction.In this paper, many researches are focused on the Virtual System information integration' s architecture and its query processing and optimization design. The main researches accomplished in this thesis are as follows:1. After having analyzed the interior and foreign present research status and approaches, a Virtual System information integration framework based on Web Services is studied, giving the framework hierarchical structure and the schemes of Web Services publishing. This framework can satisfy the Virtual System requirement of dynamism, loose-couple and expandability. And with the qualities of platform-independent, across-firewall communication mechanism and interoperation between different components, it can overcome the limits of traditional information integration approach based on CORBA technology.2. The traditional Mediator/Wrapper approach of distributed isomeric data sources encapsulation is improved by replacing the virtual view with Web Services registration mechanism, and adding function of Web Services description and publishing to wrapper. Based on this improvement, an isomeric data sources transparent access system configuration for Virtual System is built up, which has realized the flexible invoking of sharing services in information integration system.3.
