The Extraction And Recognition Of Facial Feature

The extraction and recognization is an important branch of facial image field. It includes object detection, intelligence and image processing and so on and extracts and recognize the latent information in facial image. It also play a very broad role on remaining the security of society and intelligent entertainment. The theory and method of extraction and recognization of facial image will be described in this paper, it includes in detail that: face detection based on Adaboost , extraction of eyes , eyebrows and mouth, gender classification based on SVM(Support Vector Machine). The author uses the Visual C++ to realize a system including above factors. In the system test, the right rate is above to 85% and the system satisfies the real-time requirement. It proved that the algorithm adapted is right in this system.
