With the development of automatic control and micro-electronics technology, increasing production of a lot of intelligentized chip and sensor, the research in industrial control field have been focused on networked control system (NCS). NCS indicates the development trend of control system toward network, integration, distribution and intelligentized nodes. As an alternative to traditional point-to-point communication, NCS offers more efficient reconfigurability, better resource utilization, and also reduces installation and maintenance cost. However, the insertion of the communication network leads to the uncertainty of time delay between sensors, actuators, and controllers, which makes the analysis more complex and challenges to conventional techniques. The delays may be constant, bounded, time-varying, or stochastic, depending on network communication protocol and hardware device we adopted.Firstly, the paper introduces the traits, model, protocol of NCS, and the relations of sampling and system performance; analyzes six...
