Research Of Video Segmentation Based On Block Matching

With the improvement of the multimedia, the video monitoring system has been more and more applied by the people in the produce and life. The auto- recognition of the object can improve the function of the video monitoring system. Video segmentation as the important technology in the object recognition is researched in this paper.In the base of the research of the existing algorithms of the video segmentation, an algorithm of video segmentation based on block -matching was proposed. The experiments were done to validate the algorithm.Firstly, a number of the existing algorithms of the video segmentation are researched and analyzed, then, a new algorithm of the video segmentation using the block-matching based on vector prediction. In the propose of explaining the algorithm, the spatial segmentation, the temporal segmentation and the post handling of the picture are discussed as the most important parts of the paper.
