Research On Full-Text Retrieval Technology For The Single Chinese Character

With the development of computer technologies, the type and amount of information are significantly increasing. Among different kinds of information, the words information expands much more than others. It has been a very hot issue that how to store and retrieve the vast words information. Chinese full-text retrieval technology is just brought up for the need of the words information retrieval. Office automation is an important application of Chinese full-text retrieval technology . In our country with the quick development of office automation, full-text retrieval technology especially Chinese full-text retrieval technology is needed increasingly. So Chinese full-text retrieval technology has been an important part of office automation.The contents of researches in this thesis:1. In this paper, based on analyzing the theories of full-text retrieval and the existing retrieval systems, the author turns a research towards the method of building up the full-text retrieval system based on the single Chinese characters and makes a relevant optimization. What's more, a kind of structure of inverted index files about the string of Unicode and a retrieval method are put forward.2. With the combination of web technologies and full-text retrieval technology, the thesis studies the core technology about how to build a web retrieval system. As the contribution, the method of building the web information retrieval system is presented.
