With the Ethernet and Embedded system being widely used, various kinds of technology such as computer, network, control and fieldbus are growing up quickly. It makes measure and control network system tend towards more convenience in data sharing, more rapid in information transmission and more friendly in interoperation, and makes control technology become more networking, distributing and opening.Fieldbus is widely used in modern measure and control system. When fieldbus develops from industry field device up to top and computer networking sinks to bottom device from Ethernet, the network measure and control system based on embedded Ethernet technology becomes true.This paper mainly introduces the hardware and the software design of a kind of intellective Internet node which realize the communication of Lenze transducer in CAN bus with Ethernet. This intellective node has successfully upgraded the tension control system called DCS2000-MRT. After upgraded the new system called FCS2000-MRT is a kind of field control bus system based on embedded Ethernet technology, and its performance is better than DCS2000-MRT.The 8 bit single chip processor C8051F020 with rapid speed, high performance and low price is taken as hardcore, adopted in the intellect node. It connect Ethernet with the Ethernet control chip RTL8019AS, and connect CAN bus with the CAN bus control chip MCP2510.The program in the processor including the interpretation of both CANOPEN and TCP/IP protocols and the control program. All of these and the application software of the remote monitoring system realize the upgrade from DCS2000-MRT to FCS2000-MRT.This paper relates to fieldbus technology, computer network technology and embedded system designe technology, etc. here it concentrates on following major parts:â—† Controlling Lenze transducer with CAN bus;â—† The hardware design of the intellective node;â—† The software design of the intellective node;â—† The software design of the master computer,which can operate Lenzetransducer through the human-machine interface.The intellective node finish the upgrade of the old system, and make it possible that the computer in LAN interview the node in CAN network. In contrast with the old system, FCS2000-MRT has a lot of advantages such as simple in wiring installation, better anti-disturbance and better in stability etc. Besides it can be controlled by the remote computer in the Ethernet.
