Dynamic schedule system is one of the key components of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in Compact Strip Process (CSP), and affects the quality and efficiency of production directly. Most user interfaces of dynamic schedule system which is now used in the process industry of our country are traditional user interfaces, and a great deal of useless information brought cognitive weight to the users, and they can't satisfy the real-time requirement of the users in human-computer interaction (HCI). It needs a better user interface to help users improve their work efficiency. This paper put forward the adaptive user interface, and it can solve the problem well.This paper analyzed the operation flow and real-time requirement of dynamic schedule system of current petrochemical industry, and put forward the corresponding information model, user model, constraint of the system and action sequence. Then the information flow is analyzed and the mathematics model is founded.This paper present an architecture for adaptive interaction between user and machine , and analyzed the basic static component of the interface and dynamic action process, and designed the logic of information model, user model and system constraint. Based on the current research of adaptive user interface, this paper studied the key technology of the implement of adaptive user interface, including creative rule and the method of achieving user-intention from context; the method of using the creative rule; the method of analyzing and designing the structure of user-intention and the method of using context reasoning the user-intention.Based on above research, the corresponding data structure and arithmetic is designed and implemented. Through some examples of the adaptive user interface, this paper proved the feasibility of using adaptive user interface in the dynamic schedule system, and the practice proved that the adaptive user interface can improve the work efficiency of the users in a certain extent.At last the research is summarized and the trend of the research is conceived.
