The Research Of Face Recognition System Based On DSP

Identity recognition has been paid more attention to. Face recognition is critical to our high inter-connected information society and it has important theory and appliance value.A Face Recognition System applied to entryway has been given in this paper. In general application, face collecting and processing system is based on computer, but in the situation that require high speed and small volume , there will have more research and application value for developing Face Recognition System based on DSP.This paper has proposed a new face recognition method based on WK-L, It can recognize face with abundant expression, glasses etc, fleetly and effectively. It normalizes gray and size of image before wavelet transforming, and gets the standard image size of 128*128. And then applying wavelet to face recognition, only using low frequency image to process , reducing the memory space greatly and improving processing speed.This paper has succeeded in finishing the transplantation from software platform to hardware platform of algorithm, and designed a face recognition system based on DAM6416P evaluating board an integrated development environment CCS2.2, thus verified its feasibility.
