At present, few devices of range-monitor are applied in several hundred meters, and the system of GPS is not fit for the range. So a method of range-monitor with radio wave response is presented in the paper. Alarm adopts the method of short message. For majority of short message devices are used independently now. Sharing short message device through web is presented, and it improves the utilization of short message device.Firstly, compared with ultrasonic monitor and video monitor, the advantages of radio wave monitor are presented in the paper.Secondly, the system is designed. In the monitor part, discernments of several objects are resolved by means of time division multiple access in the limited range. At the same time, anti-jamming of radio wave and secrecy are considered. Monitor of variable range is realized at last. In the alarm part, devices of monitor connect with device of short message through web, so share of short message device is resolved. Sending and receiving of short message is controlled by AT command. For the convenience of joining web and management of short message, web interface and system service are provided by designation of JavaBean+JSP.Finally, circuit of nRF401 verifies function of range-monitor, and simulator simulates Program of range-monitor. Short messages are realized by mobile phone module. Web communication and system of service are tested through connection of computer. So the result of test shows that this design is feasible. Response device of monitor part has small size and low power dissipation, which fits to embed in mobile object. Short message realizes alarm conveniently and rapidly without restriction of area. So the system has a high value of application.
