This paper gives emphasis to the research of some problems about the theory and the design of the amplifier type active integrated antenna.Firstly, the history of the development, type and extra virtues are introduced, then the stability, all kinds of power gain and noise characteristic of the low noise amplifier are analysed; and the same time, the transmission line modeling theory and the cavity modeling theory of the microstrip patch antenna are studied, which gives the relation between the size of the microstrip patch antenna and the resonant frequency and that between the size and the input impedance of the microstrip patch anrenna. Based on these theories, this paper discusses the method of the design of the low noise amplifier integrated active microstrip patch antenna, which considers the low noise amplifier and the microstrip antenna and takes both mutual matching into account. The size of the active integrated antenna and the circuit configuration of the low noise amplifier are obtained at the specified operation frequency. As to the design of the low noise amplifier, this paper presents the balanced low noise amplifier for improving the standing wave performance.Finally, the photograph of the circuit board and the simulated results are provided, and the active integrated antenna gives prominence to its virtues by comparing it with the passive microstrip antenna. |
